I'm back!

These are flowers on the kitchen windowsill at my previous residence.

Has it really been so long?

Still working full time and some!

Not really got much energy still but, getting through my 'big list' of things that need doing.

Gardening wise, just the run of the mill maintenance and I've sown some carrots, swiss chard- 'bright lights', (will transfer some of these into the borders for colour boost), courgettes-'tristar'-these are light green, dark green and yellow, some beetroot-'boltardy', dwarf french beans (not Dawn French beans lol!), Runner beans-'scarlet Emperor', tomatoes- the usual sweet and tasty-'gardeners' delight'.

On the side of the bungalow is a patch of lawn that is not so great, it gets sun for most of the day, so I'm going to plant a raised herb bed with mostly hardy herbs and some more suited to meditteranian(?sp) conditions or should I say neglection conditions?

The roses on the fence are doing really well, will take a picture whilst the sun is shining. The perfume is wonderful. The two varieties are, 'New Dawn' a climber and 'Francois Juranville' a rambler. I have other roses, still in their 'travelling 'pots from nearly three years ago..tch! tch!

At least they can, in theory be transplanted at anytime being in pots. I cannot recall their names at this moment but, should they survive are all lovely roses.

Talking of roses, I have not had my annual visit to David Austen Roses, most of them will be past their best soon in their show gardens, it doesn't usually stop me buying one or two, even if it is from the bargain corner....
I've just taken some photos of the garden as it is today and I thought I'd uploaded them, now I can't find them, so sorry you will have to wait to see them, just imagine the perfume....
Paper scented roses in a basket on my side table.

My sisters' birthday roses from David Austen Roses, last year.
